The Complex Adaptive Systems (CAS) Conference was founded and organized by Missouri University of Science and Technology in 2011, pushing research boundaries over the last thirteen years. From 2025 the conference will be expanded to include a larger community of practitioners and researchers.
In 2026 the conference will be held on The University of Tokyo Hongo Campus co-organized by Department of Systems Innovation, Faculty of Engineering, Department of Human and Engineered Environmental Studies and Department of Ocean Technology, Policy, and Environment, Graduate School of Frontier Sciences, The Research into Artifacts, Center for Engineering, Transport Innovation Research Center, and Department of Technology Management for Innovation, Graduate School of Engineering, University of Tokyo, supported by The Japan Society of Mechanical Engineers (JSME), The Japanese Society for Artificial Intelligence (JSAI) and Business Model Association.
